Mila:
Adding turmeric to coffee softens the effect of caffeine, neutralizes its effect on the cardiovascular system and prevents it from affecting blood pressure. All thanks to the active ingredient of the plant - curcumin.
Curcumin has an antioxidant effect, fights inflammation and strengthens the nervous system. Due to this, turmeric latte has a positive effect on the body:
- strengthens the immune system;
- slows down aging;
- stimulates brain function;
- reduces the risk of degenerative diseases;
- reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases due to its effect on the lining of blood vessels.
Turmeric latte also has pain-relieving properties, and due to its effect on digestion, it is used for weight loss. The drink is beneficial due to the various minerals it contains: manganese, iron and copper, as well as magnesium, which has a positive effect on the nervous system, and potassium, which is necessary for normal hematopoiesis.

In addition, turmeric latte is rich in vitamins B, K, E, C and D, which are necessary to maintain normal immunity.
But you need to understand that curcumin, once it enters the body, is quickly processed and excreted. Therefore, you should not expect that one cup of latte will have a significant impact on your health. You should constantly consume turmeric, adding it to various dishes and drinks to get a visible effect.

Golden Milk or Turmeric Latte!
All books by Olga Valyaeva Books for women, Healing fairy tales, etc. View »
Golden Milk or Turmeric Latte is the golden recipe of Ayurveda. For women in general, for every day. Elixir of beauty and youth. It stimulates the flow of bile, tones, if drunk in the morning, it starts digestion and replaces coffee. Maintains skin moisture, helps with problems of the reproductive system, calms the nervous system, helps cope with hair loss, dandruff, eczema. Nourishes. It feeds very well. You can continue for a long time. But if you have problems with the gallbladder, be careful!
There are different options for preparing it. Traditional - cook with milk. But the milk must be good, not industrial, otherwise there will be no effect. Also, if you drink it with cow's milk, then do not eat anything else at this time. Milk doesn't go well with anything. It's best when milk is a separate dish. Bring the milk to a boil, but do not boil. When it cools down to 40 degrees, you can add honey. I love this milk at night.
The second option is in combination with plant milk. This is not an acquired taste. Maybe coconut, almond, soy. Here you can mix hot water with vegetable milk and add turmeric. I like coconut better. It also has the right fat content. This is what I drink if I drink it in the morning.
Golden milk - only with homemade almonds, was brought to me in the last months of pregnancy by my midwife, Robin Lim. And she asked me not to forget to drink constantly. She brought a large bottle of homemade miracle, prepared with love. It was, however, at room temperature. But according to Robin, this is the best thing you can give a pregnant woman. This includes iron, tissue nutrition, digestion stimulation, and anti-inflammatory. In general, just a treasure.
Nowadays it is fashionable to drink it - they say it gives the effect of a foundation with constant use. So, be sure to drink.
The recipe is simple. For a glass of milk - it should be hot (40-50 degrees) - a teaspoon of turmeric. You can start with a quarter spoon. Also, to make the effect stronger, you can add a little black pepper - it increases the properties of turmeric. The taste is specific, you need to get used to it - or add honey.
Important! Turmeric should be good - bright orange, with a strong smell, without impurities. Otherwise, the effect may be the opposite. In supermarkets almost everywhere, turmeric is not turmeric at all. It can be pale yellow, odorless, or with the smell of brick. That's why our friends bring turmeric from India strictly in its roots! So that nothing is diluted there. And here they turn it into powder.
