Cocktail with Baileys B-52 liqueur

The sweet cocktail is prepared with Baileys liqueur and two other types of liqueurs - orange and coffee. This cocktail looks very beautiful, since the layers do not mix. But for everything to work out, you need to have some experience. The layers do not mix due to different specific densities, which is ensured by different sugar contents in liqueurs.

  • 20 ml coffee liqueur;
  • 20 ml Baileys cream liqueur;
  • 20 ml coffee liqueur.

It is better to prepare liqueur in a narrow, tall glass, then the layers will be higher and the cocktail will look more impressive. First, coffee liqueur is poured into the glass, since it is the sweetest and, accordingly, the heaviest.

Then you need to add cream liqueur. To prevent the layers from mixing, you need to pour along the blade of a narrow knife or along the handle of a cocktail spoon. Pour in the third layer of orange liqueur, and our cocktail is ready.

Kahlua species

In addition to the classic Kahlua, produced since 1936, there are about a dozen varieties of the popular coffee liqueur. Fans of this type of product will not have any difficulty choosing “their” drink from the line presented below:

  • Original. Prepared according to the classic recipe: it shows notes of strong coffee, nuts, old rum, butter. The drink has a dark brown color, is an excellent addition to desserts, and is included in cocktails.
  • Minth Mocha. Low alcohol version, surprising with hints of fresh mint and dark chocolate. The main flavors are rum and coffee with caramel.
  • Chili Chocolate. A warming liqueur with an unusual taste - a combination of chocolate with hot Chili pepper, in the aftertaste - vanilla notes mixed with caramel. The degree of the drink is 21%.
  • Salted Caramel. Another option that combines seemingly incompatible flavors - salt and caramel. This liqueur is not cloying like its counterparts, although its main notes are chocolate, caramel, and coffee.
  • French Vanilla. A drink containing a minimum of alcohol and with a pronounced vanilla taste. Often used in its pure form: it is easy and smooth to drink.
  • Hazelnut. The main motive is the familiar taste of hazelnuts (hazelnuts) from childhood. The drink goes well with hot coffee. It has a strength of 20°.
  • Especial Coffee. This type of liqueur is relatively young: produced since 2002. The highlight is the use of only selected Arabica beans, which results in a more intense (compared to the classic version) taste and aroma. Strength - 35°.
  • Midnight Coffee. High strength version designed for hot late night parties.
  • Pumpkin Spice. A drink with an unusual taste, not for everyone: the taster will find notes of autumn spices and pumpkin. Ideal for Halloween celebrations.

Cocktail with cream liqueur "Strawberry"

This version of a cocktail with cream liqueur will surely appeal to the ladies; it has a very delicate taste.

  • 30 ml light rum;
  • 20 ml strawberry syrup;
  • 20 ml caramel syrup;
  • 40 ml cream liqueur;
  • 40 ml cream;
  • 3-4 strawberries;
  • 160 gr. crushed ice.

Preparing the cocktail is as simple as possible. It is necessary to pour rum, both types of syrup, liqueur and cream into a shaker, add crushed ice. Mix very well. Pour the prepared mixture into a tall glass and decorate with strawberries.

Popular recipes for alcoholic drinks based on liqueur and coffee

There are dozens of them, so choosing the most popular ones, believe me, is not easy. As a reasonable compromise, we suggest taking a pair of beautiful, simple and original compositions.

Simple coffee and vodka cocktail

Everything is brilliant, brilliant in its own way. The simplest compositions sometimes turn out to be much tastier than exquisite cocktails. Let's start our cocktail panorama with the most primitive thing that can be made from homemade or factory-made liqueur.

What to cook from:

  • 30 ml chilled vodka;
  • ice;
  • 3-4 drops of lemon juice;
  • coffee liqueur – 60 ml.

How to cook:

  1. It is optimal to not only cool the vodka, but literally freeze it. Keep the bottle in the freezer for several hours before using.
  2. There is no need to do this with liqueur; on the contrary, it is recommended to leave it in a warm room, at a temperature of about +25°C.
  3. Ice for preparing a cocktail is crushed; if the smallest fragments get into the glass, it’s not a problem, although we will try to catch them with a sieve.
  4. Mix the cocktail in a shaker, starting with a handful of crushed ice, then pouring in the liquid ingredients in any order.
  5. Shake the shaker well and let the alcoholic ingredients mix well. Open the strainer, pour the cocktail through it into a glass.

Strainer and shaker are not familiar concepts to everyone. The first is simply a convenient sieve, which is used to prevent large particles (ice, berries, spices) from getting into the glass. The second is an oblong metal container with a tight lid, in which cocktails are whipped.

Note! If you don’t have such wonderful items in your household, there’s no reason to refuse a cocktail. Start small, let a small strainer (for example, a tea strainer) serve as a strainer, and a plastic bottle of dairy products with a lid and a fairly wide neck can act as an improvised shaker.

Chocolate and coffee passion

The original title omits mention of coffee, which we personally consider completely unacceptable. It is the coffee component that gives the entire composition a voluminous, invigorating taste, although there won’t be much of it in the glass.

What to cook from:

  • serving of hot chocolate – 250 ml (chilled);
  • the yolk of one selected egg;
  • crushed ice;
  • 50 ml VSOP cognac;
  • a spoon of grated chocolate;
  • thick coffee liqueur – 50 ml;
  • whipped cream - for decoration.

How to cook:

  1. Don't bother with hot chocolate, grating it into shavings and dissolving the bars in boiling water. Moreover, we won’t bother making it from cocoa powder. For a cocktail, it is more than enough to buy a ready-made powder composition.
  2. Brew hot chocolate strictly according to the manufacturer's instructions and allow to cool slowly. Just in case, filter the prepared drink into a small glass jar and put it in the common compartment of the refrigerator for an hour.
  3. Before preparing the mixture, cool and whip heavy, preferably 35 percent, cream. The mixture is prepared just before making the cocktail using a high-speed mixer.
  4. Moving on to mixing, the egg is thoroughly washed with soap, dried and the shell is broken. The white is separated and set aside, only the yolk is sent to the shaker. Add ice and all drinks there, in portions according to the list.
  5. The shaker is not shaken too vigorously; there is no need for fine ice chips in the cocktail. Pour the drink into a cocktail glass and top with cream. It is acceptable to use the mixture from an aerosol can, but be sure to make sure that it does not fall off when it comes into contact with ice.

Note! In addition to saving time, it is logical to brew hot chocolate from a ready-made powder concentrate for this reason. Often such drinks contain additional flavorings - nutty, creamy, liqueur (!). Choose according to your taste, any type of hot chocolate is suitable for our purposes, but cocktails based on them will come out with different flavor notes.

B-52

This cocktail includes even the most modest bar in its menu. Indeed, there is hardly a more famous composition! There is no need to mix it, you just need to have the recommended ingredients.

What to cook from:

  • 50 ml coffee liqueur (Kahlua or homemade);
  • Baileys “Irish Cream” – 50 ml;
  • Cointreau or other orange liqueur – 50 ml.

How to cook:

  1. The whole trick of layering cocktails using the technique of pouring liquids. The classic is to use a knife, placing it flat on the edge of the glass and resting the tip from the inside against the wall. The angle should be about 30°, although you can experiment. Drinks are poured one at a time onto the flat side of the blade.
  2. Is the theory clear? Let's get started. All components are collected in the same quantity, preferably using different measurements. The coffee drink is poured first. The knife is removed, the blade is wiped and returned to its original position. Creamy Baileys is added into the glass next, and orange liqueur is poured in last.
  3. The cocktail is served with a straw, despite the fact that the container is quite shallow. The fact is that it is customary to set the top layer on fire, although it is often argued that this is not a historical, but a newfangled tradition.

Homemade liqueurs in B-52 will give a head start to signature drinks. The fact is that it looks prettier if it is made from opaque liqueurs. Thick homemade liqueur made from coffee beans is not inferior to the branded Kahlua.

Coffee Jamaica

A simple, invigorating drink, of course, if you do not increase the portions beyond a reasonable limit.

Ingredients:

  • several ice cubes;
  • 30 ml light rum;
  • 40 ml strong coffee (chilled, instant);
  • coffee liqueur – 50 ml;
  • 20 ml cream.

How to cook:

  1. Ice is immediately placed in a glass, the remaining ingredients are poured into a shaker or another container for mixing is chosen.
  2. Mix the ingredients with a spoon, place a straw in the serving glass and pour in the cocktail.

As long as you don't change the ratio of coffee to alcohol, cocktails with coffee liqueur really perk you up. If you don’t get drunk easily from strong alcohol, you can repeat the portion, it is not so large. But be careful and think before you order it for the third time, maybe you should take a break or switch to other drinks.

Cocktail "Aztec"

The composition is often classified as youthful, both due to its lightness and due to the low price of the cocktail.

Ingredients:

  • chilled milk, 3 percent – 80 ml;
  • 40 g milk chocolate, plus shavings for decoration;
  • 30 ml coffee liqueur.

How to cook:

  1. The chocolate is melted using a water bath or microwave oven. Pour into the bottom of a conical cocktail glass.
  2. Separately, beat milk and sweet liqueur using a shaker. The finished mixture is poured into a glass and a small spoon is served with the cocktail.

You may actually need a spoon, since in a classic cocktail the chocolate thickens quite quickly. When heating the chocolate, you can add milk to it (a separate portion) to prevent the ingredient from hardening.

"Apache"

The name of the composition was given by another Indian tribe, and in appearance it is somewhat similar to the B-52 cocktail. The drink is also made in layers, albeit from other ingredients. Another difference is that the cocktail is not set on fire.

Ingredients:

  • 45 ml Kahlua or other coffee liqueur;
  • 45 ml creamy Baileys;
  • 45 ml Midori – emerald melon liqueur.

How to cook:

  1. Professional bartenders manage to create cocktails using layers of drinks at different temperatures. In the absence of such experience, the bottles should be kept in the cold for about an hour.
  2. The glass for the cocktail is chosen to be tall and rather narrow, and the drinks are “stacked” in it in layers. The bottom one will be coffee, and melon liqueur is poured on top of it. The final layer is Baileys.

The portion is too big to empty the glass in one gulp. The cocktail can also be made from half of the indicated ingredients, then you really have to drink it in one fell swoop to the bottom - this is the condition for its use.

Layered Sheridance with sambuca and whiskey

This cocktail has a short name, “Tornado”. The drink looks very nice and tastes great.

Drink composition:

  • sambuca – 30 ml;
  • whiskey (any) – 30 ml;
  • absinthe – 30 ml;
  • “Sheridans” – 30 ml each of white and black.

How to cook:

  1. We use a glass in which Martini cocktails are traditionally mixed, that is, a conical bowl with a high thin stem. Clamping the hole with the creamy drink, pour a portion of Sheridance coffee into the bottom.
  2. Next layers are whiskey, sambuca and absinthe. Each of them is carefully poured onto a spoon (knife), placing one on top of the other. The last one is cream liqueur, the quantity can be increased slightly.

A replacement for Sheridans are homemade liqueurs made with condensed milk and coffee; as a rule, they hold up even better in a “layered” arrangement.

  • 150 ml cola;
  • 150 gr. ice in cubes;
  • a slice of lemon or lime for garnish;
  • coconut flakes.

Fill the glass with ice, pour in coconut liqueur and top up with cola. Gently mix with a cocktail spoon. Roll a slice of lemon or lime in coke shavings and use this slice to decorate the cocktail.

Cocktail with Blue Curacao “Tricolor”

The most famous version of the Blue Curacao cocktail is called the Blue Lagoon. But we offer another recipe - a very impressive Tricolor cocktail.

  • 20 ml vodka;
  • 20 ml pomegranate syrup (grenadine);
  • 10 ml heavy cream;
  • 20 ml Blue Curacao.

All ingredients for making a cocktail must be well cooled. Pour them into a glass so that they do not mix. Therefore, you need to act carefully, pour drinks along the blade of a thin knife.

First, pour the pomegranate syrup into the glass, then very carefully pour the liqueur, making sure that the layers do not mix. Next, mix vodka with cream and carefully pour this mixture into the top layer. A spectacular three-layer cocktail is ready.

Composition of Kahlua liqueur

There are not many ingredients in the classic composition. Despite this, it is not easy to prepare it at home: the cooking technology itself is too complex.

Ingredients included:

  • Arabica beans are coarsely ground, slowly roasted.
  • Pure rum spirits of a certain age, with a strength of at least 20%.
  • Corn syrup,
  • French vanilla,
  • Spices.

The exact proportions of the listed components are kept in the strictest confidence. Therefore, it is not possible to prepare a copy of the liqueur yourself, even if you follow the technology.

The main advantage of the drink is the absence of artificial ingredients: its composition is completely natural.

Cocktail with orange liqueur

Cocktails with orange liqueur have a delicate aroma and taste:

  • 50 ml orange liqueur;
  • 30 ml cranberry juice;
  • 20 ml lemon juice;
  • spiral of orange zest.

Mix lemon and cranberry juice with orange liqueur. Pour the cocktail into a martini glass and garnish with a spiral of orange zest.

Advice! To prepare a spiral of orange zest, you need to wash the orange well, and then thinly cut the zest into a spiral strip.

"Green Mile"

According to legend, the recipe was invented by Moscow bartenders, but for a long time they did not tell visitors about it, considering this cocktail to be elite and intended for their closed get-together.

Composition and proportions:

  • absinthe – 30 ml;
  • Cointreau – 30 ml;
  • kiwi – 1 piece;
  • fresh meta - 1 sprig.

Recipe

  1. Peel the kiwi, cut into pieces and place in a blender. Add absinthe and Cointreau there.
  2. Beat for 30-40 seconds until the mixture becomes homogeneous.
  3. Pour the cocktail into a martini glass (cocktail glass).
  4. Garnish with a sprig of mint and a slice of kiwi.

To remove grains, when pouring from a blender into a glass, strain the cocktail through a strainer

  • 20 ml strawberry liqueur;
  • 20 ml pomegranate syrup;
  • 30 gr. crushed ice;

  • 30 ml lime juice;
  • 2 mint leaves.

We wash the strawberries and remove the sepals. Place the berries in a blender bowl, add washed and finely chopped mint leaves there, and beat everything until smooth.

  • 1 glass of milk;

  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder;
  • 1.5 tablespoons sugar;
  • nutmeg on the tip of a knife;
  • crushed ice.

Break the egg into a bowl, add sugar and beat well until light and fluffy. It’s better to beat with a mixer, it will turn out faster. Then you need to add cocoa to the egg cream and mix until the lumps disappear.

Boil the milk, pour the boiling milk into the egg mixture in a thin stream, constantly whisking. When all the milk has combined with the egg, add chocolate liqueur to the cocktail and add a small pinch of nutmeg.

Place crushed ice in the bottom of the glasses and pour the prepared cocktail on top. You can sprinkle cocoa powder on top.

How to choose the original

Kahlua coffee liqueur is especially popular not only in its homeland in Mexico, but throughout the world, which is why counterfeiters have chosen it

Counterfeits of a popular brand can be found today in any supermarket and even specialized alcoholic beverage store. Therefore, in order not to make a mistake and choose a truly high-quality drink, the consumer needs to pay attention to the following nuances:

Bottle. The liqueur is supplied to the market in 0.7 and 1 liter bottles. Each of them has an authentic shape, specially created to demonstrate the sophisticated style of the product. The unifying feature of the bottles is the presence of branded embossing on the shoulders, symbolizing the company logo.

Decor. The manufacturer responsibly monitors the packaging design procedure, which is why you will never see chipped paint, bent metal caps, traces of glue or asymmetrically placed labels on branded bottles. Everything must meet the highest standards.

Aroma, thickness and purity

After uncorking the bottle, pay attention to the smell. It should not be full of alcohol base

Also, during the process of pouring the drink, viscosity should be observed. As for cleanliness, you will never find sediment or other new growths in a branded product.

Cocktail with coffee liqueur

  • 0.5 cups cream (10-15%);
  • 0.5 cups coffee liqueur;
  • 0.25 glasses of vodka;
  • whipped cream for decoration.

We brew coffee to your taste. Make it sweet or cook it without sugar. Strain the finished coffee so that no coffee grounds get into the cocktail. In a saucepan, mix coffee with cream, add liqueur and vodka. Place the saucepan on the fire and heat until hot, but do not boil. Pour into thick-walled glass glasses and garnish with whipped cream.

Historical reference

Kahlua is the creation of several Mexican friends. Young people in the 30s of the last century decided to go into business. The production of alcoholic beverages was chosen as a niche - the most profitable direction.

Each of the four contributed to the success of the enterprise in their own way: one created the recipe for the future cocktail, the other prepared delicious coffee (the basis of the drink), the other two had an entrepreneurial streak and were involved in promoting the product on the market. The name of the drink was taken from the language of the Aztecs, the indigenous inhabitants of Mexico: Kahlua translated from their language means “coffee.”

Soon the efforts were crowned with success: the liqueur was gaining popularity and sales were increasing. An entire company for the production of Kahlua was created, named after one of the authors, Pedro Domec. At first, the product was in demand only in Mexican territory; in 1940, the drink was exported to the United States, where it also gained popularity.

60 years later, the Mexican company merged with other alcohol production companies. Today, there are several varieties of Kahlua brand coffee liqueur on the market, ranging in strength from 20 to 35°.

Cocktail with Advocate liqueur

“Lawyer” is an egg liqueur that has a yellow color and a velvety texture. The drink is quite dense, you don’t drink it, but eat it with a spoon, like ice cream. The taste of the liqueur is too sweet, so, as a rule, it is not consumed in its pure form, but is used by spreading it on fresh, warm waffles.

Advice! The Advokat liqueur sold for export is somewhat different from the original version. It is less thick and can be drunk as an aperitif or digestif, and can also be used to make cocktails.

Cocktails with Advokat liqueur are varied. Here's one option.

  • 50 ml of “Lawyer” cocktail;
  • 20 ml cognac;
  • 120 ml carbonated lemonade;
  • lime juice to taste.

All ingredients must be mixed in a shaker and poured into tall glasses. Decorate the glasses with thin slices of lime.

Classic coffee and Baileys recipe

Baileys coffee can be prepared at home. Instant coffee can also be used, and branded liqueur can be replaced with an analogue. But to get a cocktail that is no different from the famous drink, you need to choose only high-quality products: original Baileys liqueur and home-brewed coffee.

The taste of the drink depends significantly on the water and coffee beans, so it is better to use filtered water and finely ground coffee. It is necessary to simmer the coffee over low heat, avoiding boiling. After the drink rises to the edge of the pot, you should immediately remove it from the stove and stir. Then you need to let it brew for the grounds to settle.

Baileys is an Irish cream liqueur with an ABV of 17%. It is based on cream, Irish whiskey and the best types of alcohol.

When purchasing, it is important to pay attention to the label of the drink; in addition to the classic version, the manufacturer produces several varieties: with caramel, nuts, and mint flavors. For those who prefer not to drink alcohol, the amount of alcohol can be reduced to almost zero and add more milk, ice cream, condensed milk and chocolate

Traditionally, the cocktail is served in a porcelain bowl.

It is better to choose thick-walled products that do not allow the drink to cool immediately. You can also use bulk glasses made of high-temperature resistant material. In this case, it is necessary to offer cocktail straws. Coffee cocktails are served alone or in combination with confectionery and baked goods

Traditionally, the cocktail is served in porcelain dishes. It is better to choose thick-walled products that do not allow the drink to cool immediately. Coffee cocktails are served alone or in combination with confectionery and baked goods.

When preparing, it is important to take into account the recommendations of experienced baristas in order to avoid mistakes and get the desired result:

  1. The temperature of the cocktail when serving and drinking should be about 50°C.
  2. Before pouring the drink into a cup, the container must be doused with boiling water.
  3. Coffee beans are an excellent absorbent, so they should be processed immediately before preparing the cocktail. Otherwise, the drink may absorb foreign odors, which will distort its aroma.
  4. In the warm season, a cocktail can be made invigorating and refreshing by adding pieces of ice.

The combination of a coffee drink with liqueur allows you to create a soft, invigorating, low-alcohol cocktail and original flavors using various additives. There are several cooking options, but they are all based on the classic recipe.

Required ingredients:

  • 8 g freshly ground coffee beans;
  • 30 g liqueur;
  • 50 g cream;
  • sugar to taste;
  • glass of water.

Brew ground coffee beans and let steep for a few minutes. Pour into a glass, slowly pour in the alcohol, add sugar and mix thoroughly. Then add whipped cream, sprinkle with chocolate chips. Whipping cream should have a high percentage of fat content; it is advisable to cool it before use. You can also use ready-made cream from a can or replace it with ice cream.

When preparing coffee drinks with alcohol, it is important to remember that alcohol is poured into coffee, but based on personal preferences, you can try the opposite option

How to serve and drink correctly

There are no general rules for drinking White Russian. Some people prefer to drink it in one gulp, receiving a shock dose of alcohol. Others like to “sip” the drink through a straw. I can only advise one thing - drink the cocktail before the ice melts. The longer you wait, the less concentrated and tasty the drink will be.

White Russian is served in rocks, highball or old fashion glasses. Sometimes a straw is placed in the glass, but the cocktail itself is not eaten.

Cocktail with Pina Colada liqueur

A simple and easy cocktail with Pina Colada liqueur can be prepared very quickly.

  • 50 ml liqueur;
  • 150 ml pineapple juice;
  • 1 slice of pineapple for decoration;
  • 1 teaspoon whipped cream.

Mix pineapple juice with liqueur. It is advisable to use freshly squeezed juice, but you can also use store-bought juice, but the product must be natural. Pour the prepared mixture into a wide glass, decorate with a slice of pineapple, and place a spoonful of whipped cream on top.

Cocktail "Breakfast"

Despite this name, you should not drink the cocktail in the morning, since its base is vodka with liqueur.

  • 15 ml vodka;
  • 15 ml coffee liqueur;
  • 1 quail egg yolk.

The liqueur is served in a thick liqueur glass. Pour coffee liqueur into a glass. Then carefully spoon in the whole quail egg yolk. Pour vodka along the side of the glass or carefully with a spoon. This cocktail needs to be drunk in one gulp.

What to snack on Baileys

Usually sweet liqueurs are served at the end of the main feast, Bailey's is no exception. Despite the sugary taste, some drink cocktails with cake, pastries, marshmallows and other sweets.

Unsweetened fruits, berries, ice cream, and bitter coffee desserts also go well with Baileys.

Champagne cocktail “Green Bubbles”

A beautiful cocktail with champagne and two types of liqueur, served in a champagne glass.

  • 150 ml champagne;
  • 30 ml Midori melon liqueur;
  • 30 ml Poiret William (pear liqueur);
  • 1 thin slice of lime.

Pour first one, then the second liqueur into the glass, alternately. Then add cold champagne. Garnish the glass with a slice of lime. Serve chilled.
